The Language Lab strives to support students learning new languages by offering a range of materials for reference, self-instruction, and practice.
Books & Media
Our collection of print and media materials is focused on linguistics and languages, including self-instructional materials for second languages. Search the Catalog.

Rosetta Stone is available ONLY within the Language Lab. The languages offered are: Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, and Spanish.
The Language Lab has over 70 computer work stations for individual and group work.
Printing services are available with an ACMS printing account.
We also have a Media Classroom (3402) for interactive, technology-aided instruction. Access is reservation-based; please contact the librarian to reserve it for your class.

Materials are available for on-premises use to all UCSD students. Faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the local community are also welcome as space allows.
